After Surgery Care
Recovery at the center, and what happens before you head home.
In the recovery room
- You will be in our recovery room under the care of specially trained nurses.
- You will be monitored by the nurse and anesthesiologist until you are ready for discharge.
Going home
- The responsible adult accompanying you will be notified by the surgeon of the outcome.
- They will also be contacted with discharge instructions, and when you are ready to go home and rest.
- Written discharge instructions will be given to both you and the responsible adult.
